Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EnergyMeets website and services (the "Service"), available at energymeets-platform.web.app. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy in Section 12. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

References to "EnergyMeets", "we", "us" or "our" mean Intellect Power LP.

2. The Service

EnergyMeets is a calendar and professional networking platform for energy-industry events. We aggregate and publish information about third-party fairs, conferences and forums; let members share their attendance plans; and help members discover and contact professionals attending the same events. EnergyMeets is an information and networking service: we are not the organizer of the listed events and we do not sell event tickets. Registration and ticketing for events happen with the respective organizer, on the organizer's own terms.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• The Service is intended for professional use by persons aged 18 or over.
• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You may sign in with email/password, Google or LinkedIn. Third-party sign-in is subject to the terms of the respective provider.
• You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@energymeets.com.

4. Plans, payments and renewals

Experts (Pro)	€49 / person / year	All Free features plus unlimited event networking and full attendee visibility, alerts and member benefits as described on the Plans page.
Event Organizers	€299 / event / year	Featured listing, organizer logo, website and ticketing links, visibility and basic statistics for one event, as described on the Plans page.

• Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. An invoice is issued for every completed payment.
• Payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers (card or PayPal). We do not store card details.
• Paid plans run for one year from activation and do not renew automatically - we remind you before expiry and you choose whether to renew.
• Right of withdrawal: if you are an EU consumer you may withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, unless you have expressly consented to immediate performance of the service. To exercise this right contact hello@energymeets.com; we will refund payments received for the withdrawn service.
• Feature descriptions of plans may evolve; features marked as upcoming are provided when released.

5. Event information disclaimer

Event details (dates, venues, programmes, prices) come from organizers, public sources and members, and can change without notice. We curate the index with care but do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of event information. Always confirm details with the official organizer before booking travel or tickets. EnergyMeets is not liable for cancelled, postponed or altered events.

6. Your content and conduct

• You retain ownership of the content you submit (profile, messages, event proposals). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
• You must not post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or spam; harvest member data; or use the Service to send unsolicited marketing.
• Event proposals are reviewed before publication. We may edit listings for accuracy and consistency and may decline or remove any listing.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

7. Networking and messages

Attendance plans you mark as visible are shown to other members to enable introductions. You control this visibility per event. Direct messages are private between participants; do not share other members' contact details outside the platform without their consent.

8. Organizer listings (Event Organizers plan)

• Organizer content (logos, links, descriptions) must be accurate and must not infringe third-party rights. You warrant that you are authorised to represent the event you list.
• Featured placement relates to visibility inside EnergyMeets and does not constitute endorsement.
• Statistics provided (views, clicks, saves, interested members) are indicative measurements of activity on our platform.

9. Intellectual property

The EnergyMeets name, logo, design and software are our property or licensed to us. Event names and organizer logos belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification. You may not scrape, reproduce or resell the event index or member data.

10. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for claims connected with a paid plan is limited to the amount you paid for that plan in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Changes and termination

We may update the Service and these Terms. For material changes we will notify you (for example by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

12. Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data - name, email, password (hashed by our authentication provider), and, if you use Google or LinkedIn sign-in, the name, email and profile photo those providers share.
• Profile data you choose to add - job title, company, sectors, bio, photo.
• Activity data - events you follow or RSVP to, connections, messages, bookings and payments (payment card data is handled by the payment provider, not by us).
• Technical data - log and device information needed to run and secure the Service.

Why we process it (legal bases under GDPR)

• To provide the Service you signed up for - accounts, calendar, networking, plans (contract).
• To send service emails such as RSVP confirmations, reminders and invoices (contract / legitimate interest). Notification emails can be adjusted from your account or by contacting us.
• To meet legal obligations such as tax and invoicing records (legal obligation).
• To secure and improve the Service (legitimate interest).

Sharing

Your profile and the attendance plans you make visible are shown to other signed-in members - that is the point of the network. We share data with processors that host and run the Service (Google Firebase - hosting, database, authentication; our email delivery provider; payment providers for payments). We do not sell personal data.

Retention and your rights

We keep personal data while your account is active and as required for legal (e.g. tax) records afterwards. You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Contact hello@energymeets.com; you may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
